Practical support, clearly scoped

First residency

Build a legal base for life in Paraguay, with the rights and obligations of the status you obtain. Start by understanding the stages, then decide what preparation and local support you need.

What residency can enable

Residency provides a legal basis to establish yourself in Paraguay under the conditions of the status granted. Provisional processing status, temporary residency and permanent residency are different; an application alone is not the same as approval.

During a temporary residency application, the provisional status described by Migraciones can permit work, study and reentry while it remains valid. Temporary residency and access to an identity card have their own requirements and validity. Confirm the documents and conditions that apply to your stage.

Residency is distinct from citizenship. An identity document, a later residence category or any other right must not be assumed before its conditions are met.

Preview scope

Agree the responsibilities before you begin.

Service scope, fees and professional responsibilities are not approved for sale. This page supports an informed initial discussion; it does not determine legal eligibility.

Assistance to discuss

  • A preparation discussion to map your goals, current stage, and questions for professional review.
  • Guidance on document organization within the selected support level; the final requirements must be confirmed for your circumstances.
  • A clear division of responsibilities for preparation, any appointment coordination, and agreed follow up.

Dependencies and exclusions

  • Residency eligibility, required documents, visits, and government decisions require individual confirmation.
  • Travel, translations, legalization, government charges, and external professional fees must be scoped separately.
  • Family pricing and aftercare are agreed before engagement; a preview amount for one applicant is not a household quote.

A considered way forward.

  1. Discuss your intended move and choose how much coordination you want.

  2. Confirm the appropriate route and a personalized preparation list with the responsible professional.

  3. Plan any required visits and local steps only after the dependencies are clear.

  4. Agree how progress updates, external decisions, and aftercare will be communicated.

Questions to resolve together.

Which support level should I choose?

Essential starts with preparation guidance. Guided adds more coordination. Concierge proposes more individual logistical support. Compare the specific deliverables and confirm the scope before choosing; the tier does not change the government decision.

Can you tell me which documents to obtain now?

Start by making an inventory of what you already hold. Ask the responsible professional to confirm the exact documents, accepted formats, translations, and timing before paying for new copies or making travel commitments.

Does a higher support level mean faster approval?

No. Support levels describe assistance and communication. They do not provide privileged processing, establish eligibility, or guarantee an approval date.

How does this work for a family?

We use a family scope discussion so each person’s preparation needs and shared logistics can be considered. Request a family quote rather than multiplying an individual illustrative price.

Information is provisional and must be checked for your circumstances.
